What does Angelic Peace have to offer that is different than "normal hospital childbirth classes?"
1. We are unique--we try to cater to the needs of our clients--you want to know how to belly dance during your "birth time"--hey, we will throw that in for free!
2. We offer a more "holistic" viewpoint--we look at the "whole mother" and help her realize her full birthing potential.
3. We offer weekend and evening classes and private classes--group classes at central location in Nacogdoches, TX.
4. We offer nutritional and exercise tips that will help you during pregnancy to have a better birth.
5. We offer a more positive attitude about birth--we do not focus on fears.
6. We offer pros and cons about interventions and the truth behind interventions and childbirth. We hope you to become better informed to make the better choices for your "birth time."
7. We offer natural comfort measures for those seeking full unmedicalized birthing experience.
8. We help the fathers become involved in childbirth as a "coaching partner" for your birth experience (if this is desired).
9. We offer information about doulas for childbirth and postpartum period and how a doula can help you enjoy a shorter and better birth experience.
10. We offer explanation of how doula and childbirth partner/father can co-exist together in making the perfect team for your birth experience (if so desired).
11. We offer support positions and how to have a more active birth experience.
12. We can inform you of your rights to have the baby with you at all times after the birth of your child--rooming in and having the baby bathed in your room, etc. You do not have to take your child off to some "hospital nursery" and why this is dangerous to do so!
13. If you are interested in home birth--we will help you find a home birth midwife and help you have a good home birth or birth center experience.
14. You will have handouts that will help you keep the information you learn at your finger tips!
15. Yes, we will have quizzes on the material learned--but I can guarantee it will be fun--not a chore to learn!
